HONDA: CIVIC INSTAHACKS

To promote the All-New 2016 Civic, Honda invested in social with a heavy media spend on Instagram. This included Marquee Video Ads that ran on January 8, 2016 and were served to all users over the age of 18. The assignment was to show off the exterior styling of the most exciting model change for the Civic in years, while making the content feel like it belongs on the platform with an expansive audience. To do this we created videos that felt native to Instagram, but broke the physical boundaries of its usual content; reinforcing the idea of the All-New Civic being The Civic You Never Saw Coming.


BENDING REALITY INSTAGRAM ARTISTS

We also teamed up with 4 surrealist Instagram artists to create additional more targeted Link Ad stills and cinemagraphs to supplement the rest of the campaign. The direction we gave them was to create imagery that is rooted in reality but has an unexpected twist, highlighting the all-new exterior styling of The Civic You Never Saw Coming.
